We are a four generation farming family estate owned and very Animal friendly.  Atherstone Stables park estate is over 25 years established set in beautifully maintained secluded grounds, very exclusive location. Within 15 minute walking distance to the historical market town of Atherstone with lots of shops, super markets, outdoor market, Butchers, bakers, doctors & dentists, library etc... and the pretty little village of Ratcliffe Culey. One hour & twenty minutes direct train journey to London Euston from Atherstone station.  Our park is ideally located for Twycross Zoo, Drayton Manor Park, Bosworth Battlefield center and the NEC. Easy driving distance to the towns of Atherstone, Market Bosworth, Nuneaton, Tamworth, Hinckley, Coventry & Birmingham.

We are a 4th generation farming family with over 1000 acres of farmland and our secluded gated park is set in acres of mature grounds, down a lovely long entrance drive with CCTV.

 

Tourist Pitch

Our Tourist pitches are set in quiet country surroundings with the river Sense running through our very well-maintained grounds.

These are large spaced-out luxury hard-standing parking bays with electric, personal unlimited water tap and grey water drainage.

Seasonal Pitch

Our very popular year-round seasonal pitches are fully serviced, large, very spaced, luxury, hard standing parking bays, pay as you go electric, personal unlimited water tap and grey water drainage.

Set in quiet country surroundings with the river Sense running through our grounds.

Glamping Pods

Our self-catering luxury, fully furnished en-suite Glamping pods each have a large wooden verandah, and parking right outside your pod.

The electrically heated pods are suitable for all-year-round stays including work contracts and have a separate double bedroom to the modern open plan kitchen/dining and lounge area.

The kitchen has a cooker, microwave, fridge and includes plates, dishes plus basic cooking utensils.

The cossy lounge area has a television, table & chairs and settee/bed settee in some pods.

The en-suite has a hand wash basin, toilet and shower unit.

A footpath leads along the river bank and across the fields to the pretty village of Ratcliffe Culey and The Gate pub (half a mile away), which serves pub food.

Atherstone town (historically known as the old hatting town) is a 15-minute walk or 5-minute bike ride away and offers lots of shops, restaurants, take-aways, antique shops, a church, butcher, and bakers shop. A pleasant day could be spent browsing the shops and admiring the medieval architecture of the Market Square.

In nearby Sheepy Parva, there is an attractive Italian restaurant with patio overlooking the lake, serving great food.

Surrounding area...

Bring your bike!  Great bike rides into the villages and the town.  You could cycle to the Battlefield centre for a tour and lunch, then pop your bike on the steam train to Shackerstone station for a cream tea. The gated road to Mkt Bosworth is a must on your bike.  Beautiful countryside.

We are very popular for the NEC events throughout the year. Twycross Zoo, Drayton Manor Park and the Bosworth Battle field center.

Towns within a 20-mile radius include Atherstone, Mkt Bosworth, Nuneaton, Tamworth, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Hinckley, Leicester, Coventry, Litchfield and Birmingham.

Dogs Welcome Caravan Park

We do have some lovely country walks from our caravan park to the village of Ratcliffe Culey and the Mkt Town of Atherstone. Please go and speak to reception for information on walks. There are signs clearly marked for the footpath directions from the site. A map is also sent upon booking.

Dogs must strictly be kept on a lead and any mess must be cleaned up by the owner. The site does not accept breeds/cross breeds listed in the dangerous dog Act. The dangerous dog act fully applies.
